How to buy

Enter through the published door.

CS1 can be minted at the primary market or traded on its Uniswap v2 pool on Base. Both paths carry published costs, stated below before you transact. Buying CS1 is acquiring a long-term treasury claim, not entering a yield program.

Before you begin

What you need.

  • A wallet on Base. MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any wallet that supports the Base network.
  • USDC on Base for the purchase, and a small amount of ETH on Base for gas.
  • The verified contract addresses. Confirm every address against the Proof of Treasury page before you sign anything. If an address does not match, do not transact.
The primary market observes published mint windows: it is closed from Friday 8:00 PM to Sunday 8:00 PM ET and on U.S. market holidays, so that minting stays aligned with custodial execution. The pool trades continuously.

Path one · Mint at the primary market

01

Connect at the official app

Go to the Causeway app and connect your wallet on Base.

02

Enter your purchase amount

Minimum $1,000. You pay 101% of base cost in USDC; 100% mints as CS1 at the current oracle price; the 1% is a one-time mint fee.

03

Review, then sign

Check the mint amount, the total USDC, the fee, and the network before confirming in your wallet.

04

Verify your balance

Import the CS1 token address if it does not appear automatically, and confirm the transaction on Basescan.

Path two · Trade on Uniswap v2

01

Use the official pool link

Reach the pool from the Causeway app or docs. Avoid unverified token lists and lookalike contracts.

02

Set slippage for the burn

Every transfer burns, on both legs of a trade. Set slippage tolerance at or above the applicable burn tier, plus the 0.3% pool fee, or the swap can fail or under-deliver against its quote.

03

Expect the published friction

A round trip at the smallest tier costs roughly 1.6% before price impact: the burn on each leg plus pool fees. CS1 is built for holding.

04

Verify what arrived

The amount received is the quoted amount less the burn. Confirm your balance and the transaction on Basescan.

CS2 access

In development

CS2's primary market is expected to be limited to eligible investors, with a $10,000 minimum mint and a weekly redemption window at NAV less 25 basis points. There is no public sale and no secondary market at launch, and no waitlist that promises one.

Institutions and eligible investors can register interest through the Causeway app or by contacting the team directly at hello@causewaygroup.io.

Every cost on this page is published before you pay it.

The mint fee, the burn schedule, the round-trip friction, and the market hours are all stated here and enforced in code. When a line about CS1 feels exciting, check it against the numbers above. Excitement is usually a promise in disguise, and Causeway states mechanisms, not outcomes.
